I needed a sound of a soft hand clasp - specfically of one person grabbing another's hand. I couldn't find a sound I wanted online so I recreated it myself. Using an MXL 990 mic in a home studio, I recorded myself clapping softly at varying tempos/intensities. I hope this helps you in your projects as well.
