In Kashiwa, Chiba, Japan. East of Tokyo. Late October 2016. I noticed some cricket-like sounds. I walked around a field a small forrest to capture several of the insect sounds. At 2/3rd of the recording I got really close to a really intense and high-pitched one.
Recorded with Zoom H2n in MS-stereo.
