Note that Binaural isn't the same as normal stereo. Binaural recordings use two carefully configured microphones arranged so that they give the listener an immersive 3-D or "in-the-room" listening sensation. Generally they provide more realistic spatial localisation than regular stereo sound. For more information on binaural recording see the wikipedia article, or search online.
