Hi Dolemite23554,

Thank you for your comment on my post. After listening to the other sound in some studio headphones, I realize it is extremely similar. This is because both DWSD and I's sound come from FL Studio preset kicks. I combined 4 FL Studio Kicks and mixed and mastered them to create my own sound. If you listen to each of the FL Studio kicks, you'll definitely hear each one of them in this unique sound. I can immediately tell that DWSD used some of those same kicks to base their kick off of. However, notice the slight wavelength differences in colors. This comes from mixing and mastering each of the kicks slightly differently. With the thousands of EDM sounds that get uploaded to freesound, likely some kicks will sound incredibly similar. You can tell they are not the exact same sound. Best of success!
