This is a sample I create thinking for use to give more bass on the kick (for exemple)

Imagin if you put togheter a kick with punch and this sample,

.after on the kick with punch take out the sustain to -inf dB, give 50ms of release and take the decay betwen 250ms to 950ms (something like that)

.and in the bass sample put the decay betwen 2s and 5s and the realese in the same... the sustain can be on 0dB or -inf dB, that depends of your feeling... you can give some attack too

Remeber to EQ the two samples because is almost sure you gonna get some freq clashing and you need to conciliate that

if you want a long bass on the kick, try to stretch this sample, or the final mix of the two samples
