I have a little court where I live. There's a couple of plants, bushes and creepers there that attract quite some bees. They create a busy buzzing that fills the space. I stuffed my recorder, a zoom H2n in the leaves of the creeper and recorded the busy bees in 4 channel mode. This recording is a mix of all 4 channels, slightly edited and processed in Reaper. In the background you can also hear traffic noises, airplanes, harbour noises (I live at the edge of the Ghent Harbour), some neighbourly sounds. The loud ticking you hear every so often is the wood that bears the plastic roof of the porch-like part at the back of our house that responds to the summer heat. This recording was made on the 14th of July 2018 in the afternoon.
