This is a recording of the sea in the morning at Audresselles in France. The recording was done with a Zoom H2N in XY stereo mode. The recording was made in a attempt to record the movement of the waves from left to right and to capture a particular sound the breaking waves made to my left. For some reason the pebbled beach made a peculiar deep flangey kind of sound when hit by the waves to my left. Listening back to the recording I especially noticed the deep roaring that was present in the recording. This is a very typical sound for the region and is produced by the many ferries crossing the channel between Calais and Dover, and probably also by the harbour and industry of Boulogne-Sur-Mer. This recording was made on the 6th of august 2018 between 6 am and 7 am. The recording was slightly equalized in Reaper, I used the EQ to top of the high hiss.
