The seagulls were gathering in the sea, on the water, in the morning. I wanted to capture the sounds they made. As I approached, they initially shut up. I decided to install my Zoom H2N in 4 channel mode and lie down hoping I would go unnoticed again and the birds would start making their great sounds again. It became a bit of a meditation. The more I sank into myself, the more the birds became noisy again. Great! The recording was made on the morning of 6th august between 6 am and 7 am in Audresselles. The recording was slightly equalized in reaper, taking out some of the low and cranking up the highs a tiny bit.
