Arrival of a train to Mirandela (Trás-os-Montes, Portugal) from Tua station (Douro-Tua Line) at the beginning of March 2007. This train is running one the most beautiful narrow gauge train lines in Europe, the Tua Line.
Notice the sharp distinct noise of the train wheels stepping on the rails joints and the friction noise on the tracks junction, as the carriage passes by with the engine roaring.
You can ear at the background in the beginning the sound of the railroad gates bells ringing, a rooster, 2 different sets of birds and a dog barking constantly. There is also some noise created by my feet as I step in the gravel between the tracks.
This sound was recorded using a MZ-NH700 MD, via MIC-IN with a cheap condenser microphone.
