Recording of a medium paced shallow river made with a pair of NTG1s in XY arrangement into a Tascam DR-40. No processing other than a low cut to take off the worst of the rumbles and some editing to take off some bumps and gusts of wind.
Further notes:
There's a little traffic in the background. This is London.
The recording was made by hanging the mics by a rope over a bridge over the water - the panning, therefore, is allover the shop as they twist and turn all over the place.
It's not always very obvious but one of my cables was dodgy and every so often you can hear a quiet, high squeak, I think, because of this. Sorry.
