Field recording made on the first floor landing of the Wallace Collection in London. On the stairs adjacent are Francois Boucher's 'The Setting of the Sun' (1752) and 'The Rising of the Sun' (1753). Early in the recording the sounds of a clock striking - a notable feature of the Wallace Collection - can be heard. Then we hear two north American women in conversation. The recording was made in June 2009.
