Near the top of a mountain in Whistler B.C. I encountered a large Black Bear.
It was not happy when it saw me. I was so scared I didn't know if I should run
or lay down. So I just sat down against a tree and became as small as possible.
My audio recorder was in my jacket pocket. I almost forgot I had it, I was so scared.
I managed to record a few seconds of its growls before it left.
