Spring afternoon ambience recorded in the sandbox of the Merianplatz playground, downtown Frankfurt, Germany.Sounds recorded include kids playing in the sand, one digging a hole with a plastic shovel, a mother talking, some ball-playing youngsters in the background and sparrows and blackbirds singing. At 1:04" a rescue helicopter flies by. A two year old boy is deeply impressed by the aircraft. "'ub'rauber 'nell!", he says. (German for: "'elitopter fast!")Field-recording, March 2006.
