A Nerf Stryfe being revved up, held there for a few seconds, and revved down. Sounds a bit like a siren, with some wobble in the middle. Slow it down by half or more for a decent alarm sound.
Microphone: Tascam DR-07mkII
Windscreen: None
Post-processing: Noise reduction
Unless otherwise noted, all sounds were recorded on a Tascam DR-07 Mk.II portable microphone. I sometimes use a windscreen. Recordings are edited in Audition to remove background noise.
