Sound not only travels through the air, but can also travel through different substances (water, iron, wood, glass, etc.). The vibrations caused by a sound source can be transmitted through substances by the building blocks of the substance (atoms, molecules) colliding against each other. In the absence of matter, sound cannot propagate because we do not have the building blocks of matter to transmit the vibrations.
In science fiction films, we often hear a spaceship rumbling through space. Is that possible?
Sound travels at about 340 m/s through the air, but in water it travels about four times faster and over greater distances than in air. In solids, sound travels even faster and over greater distances.

Great effect, a combination of horror with sci-fi. I have shivers listening to it.
Great sound background for horror in space, for example for the movie "Alien"
In cinema films, we hear explosions, lasers and spaceships in space but without it, these films would not be so good :)
The exception was "Alien" because at the beginning there is the sentence: "Nobody in space, he will not hear your scream"
Your sound inspired me to new recordings.
