20240511 - 01 - Mono - AT875R - Ješenca - Between fields and forests

Ješenca - is a settlement in the Municipality of Rače - Fram, which lies between Rače and Fram. It is a place with a railway line running through it and a place with 542 inhabitants on an area of 4.2 km2. A very traditional Styrian settlement with houses along the main road used to be mainly agricultural, but today this is all changing and only a few farms can be found, the rest are modern residential houses. Ješenca is a very quiet settlement away from the main roads and the bustle of traffic, but close enough to shops, post office, medical center, school, kindergarten and other necessary infrastructure. At the same time, it is an excellent starting point for nature walks and cycling.

The constant noise is the sound of the highway 1200 meters behind me.
