I am primarily a field recordist, with an interest in natural and urban soundscapes and how they change over time. This is my adventure into sound hunting and field recording.
Processing:
If I tag something field-recording then I mean a single take true to the passage of time, unless otherwise noted. EQ yes, in moderation. Noise reduction no. Experience showed the state of the art improves with time and I listened more critically.
What is that weird stuff like AMBPubl_ or WATRWave_ at the beginning of some of my titles/filenames? That is the Universal Category System to help find sounds. It's not ideally suited to field recordings but it's better than what we had before.
