Notre Dame Bells from 9 February 2007, before the fire.
I was one of the many tourists feeding the sparrow flocks in front of Notre Dame cathedral. The spadgers were the main point of making this recording, but the bells sounded in the late afternoon, so I happened to record an incidental historical soundmark.
This was before the 2019 fire so this is a recording of the bells before the fire and restoration.
Recorded 9 Feb 2007 around 5pm, Olympus LS20, Soundman OKMII binaural mics
