Another recording made from our bathroom window which faces a stand of Eucalyptus trees. This time late at night when all was still. The haunting sound of an Eagle Owl in one of the trees. Listen carefully towards the end of the sample and you will hear its wing catch some leaves as it takes off. Recorded on a Panasonic Mini DV Camcorder with a cheap electret condenser microphone.

Not sure why, but this owl sound really stands out above the others to me. I guess it sounds natural, I don't know. Either way, thank you very much for this sound. =)
