Carillon of "Notre Dame des Récollets" in Verviers, Belgium, with the river Vesdre in the background. The song is "Vers l'Avenir" by G.T. Antheunis and F.A. Gevaert, some kind of second national anthem, much like Jerusalem is to the English. The chorus goes "Dieu protège la libre Belgique et son Roi !" (God save free Belgium and its King). Front channels from a recording made with Zoom H2 in 4-channel mode. Further treatment on a Mac with TwistedWave.

Superb quality ! I grew up in Verviers and left it about 10 years ago. It is so nice to hear the carillon again and that beautiful Vers l'avenir. Merci.
