The C-Train is a type of new train stock built by China Nanche Rolling Stock Company, and introduced by MTR in Hong Kong in 2012.
The motor of this train is using a production from same company, Mitsubishi. So you can hear that this type of train have similarities to that of K-Stock, a type of train produced by Rotem in Korea.
This train has noise reduction design which is somehow better than that of all types of train ever servicing in Hong Kong. Therefore, you can hardly hear the motor sound of C-Train, except if you are in motor car. Moreover, its effective noise reduction design makes you could have a more pleasent journey even on that noisy tunnels on Tseung Kwan O Line (also Tiu Keng Leng - Lam Tin Section on Kwun Tong Line) is a massive point which lets it getting better review than other types of trains servicing in urban lines.
