A recording of a night-time atmosphere featuring crickets and some other nocturnal animals. Acorns can be heard falling from the oak trees. Recorded in rural Provence in late October.
Part way through the recording, half-hourly church bells from nearby Blauvac and Méthamis can be heard at 0:58 and 1:39.
This was a very quiet soundscape so I recorded it using a pair of Lewitt LCT540s in roughly ORTF configuration.
Will loop smoothly.
