This recording was made with a Schoeps MiniCMIT GR microphone, which was accidentally positioned upside down during the recording, meaning the back of the microphone was facing the beef cattle. Since these animals are loud, the result is quite satisfactory. Initially, I dismissed the recording, but later decided to release it after all.
If you look at the microphone's polar pattern, you might find it interesting to hear how it sounds when directed with the back facing forward!
I made this mistake because the microphone had a Rycote Windshield Kit MiniCMIT with a deadcat on it, and in that case, it's not always immediately obvious which side is the "correct" one to point at the subject.
The recording has been edited; it consisted of nine pieces, which were first cut and then combined into one.
Enjoy listening! :-)
