I spent an hour today looking for a decent car reversing sound, gave up and recorded my car doing the same. I was in search of that particular whine you get when you back up in a car or truck rather quickly. Tried to avoid engine sound/ Recorded on my trusty old Zoom H4 and processed (EQ - cut the lows, Compression to bring up the level mostly) in ProTools 10.

Yeah!! That's what I'm talking about. That whine works for so many things especially in the Sci-fi realm. I first identified it in Honda Civics (older ones), good to know Mazda has that familiar sound too. Many thanks!
