The white-winged chough (Corcorax melanorhamphos)
I just LOVE these birds and their amazing sounds. I often walk in the bush around here and come across groups of them. Despite my many experiences with these beautiful creatures this is the first time that I have actively gone out to capture their sound. I hope this is one of many recordings to come. It can only get better.
Recorded with an MS stereo set up using a sennheiser 416 paired with a MKH 30.

Hi,
I just had an idea today for making some "jungle song", and I would like to use these amazing sounds. It's great, I love it.
