In the woods just below Drunen in North Brabant in the Netherlands I made a joyful jump during this recording. I heard the golden oriole twice briefly (right, moment 17 and 24 second). A very unusual place for this bird.
Now that I listen to the recording again, I completely understand. It was a blackbird imitating the Oriole. Listen; You hear a blackbird after the golden oriole imitation. It was him, the blakbird. And the nice thing is that the two blackbirds (left and right) imitate each other with a normal blackbird song ending at the end of the recording.
Remark; This place is about 3 km from the boating lake. A golden oriole is regularly spotted there, as I discovered later. That blackbird must have been at the boating lake more often to practice.
