Woodlarks singing on Heathland.
A very quiet day in the windy dunes in March in the south of the Netherlands.
Two Wood-larks prominent singing. Beautiful melancholy singing, with many series of slowly descending warm sounds.
In the distance a dog barking.
Here, in the Loonse and Drunense Duinen where I am, many birds breed in the heathlands of the drifting sand area. It is a breeding ground for birds such as the tree pipit, nightjar, tree and skylark and the stonechat. They are all ground nesters, who make their nests among the heather bushes
I was here before in 2019 March 28 too https://freesound.org/people/klankbeeld/sounds/465062/
