Under the oaks along sand path looking over estates. Multiple church bells, birds and hikers

It is a quiet autumn day in October on the edge of farmland with some organic cows and the oak forest. The area lies between Loonse and Drunense Dunes nature reserve and the village of Biezenmortel in the province of North Brabant in the southern part of the Netherlands.
In the distance, Flemish hikers are coming my way. They haven't spotted me yet. Meanwhile, the church bells of several surrounding villages make themselves heard. There is no lack of birds here either. The sound that looks like rain is from the dry oak leaves on the trees. Flemish voices approach and a woman now spots my equipment. “ #4:24 Is that one birding?” They don't ask me and so as not to disturb me they walk a little way around. Always social those Flemings.
