At last here in the midwest United States, we have proof that Spring is here. This is heard in the forests as the new winged arrivals from central America, and the Caribbean islands have arrived here in our insect-laden woods to feast and raise a family.
Among the birds you hear in this recording, the Northern Parula, Gray Gnatcatcher and several alarmed Pileated Woodpeckers. Off and on you also hear the delicate tap-tap-tapping of some species of woodpecker pounding on a dead tree looking for food.
Also, a special treat, what would warm weather be without bees investigating my microphone! Twice you will hear a very close bee-buzz.
Enjoy.

You're welcome TehBucket.....what is amazing there is no overdubbing. That's exactly how the forests her sound when the tropical birds arrive.
That's great this could be used for music experiments.
Best.
