Spring in the northern hemisphere is almost always accompanied by rain. Sometimes, a lot of rain at once.
This recording is no exception. Rain ebbing and swelling on a house with aluminum siding and an aluminum canopy. I think what makes this recording good is, the rain is not solid all the time. As you will see from the graphic, and when you listen to the audio, there are periods of heavy rain, periods of light rain, and often periods of no rain.
Recorded in southern Illinois on Tuesday April 16 2024.
