The northern hemisphere is slowly getting cooler as Autumn takes hold. This soundscape was recorded near Carbondale Illinois on a cool - 60 degree Farenheit -- late afternoon. As the sun slips further down, the insects and a neighborhood dog continue to vocalize. The whole audio scene is one of slowing down, stepping into the slow time of autumn.
