So evocative of lakes in North America. Heard them years ago in New England.Thank you for a great recording.

Perfect capture of the sound of loons. First heard them when I went to Eagle Lake, ON and had no idea what they were. The early reflections mimic those I hear from the beach outside the cottage. Just needs the sound of the local coyotes and CP freight train off in the distance.
