this recording was made on a winter camping trip to smarts mtn (white mtns, new hampshire) in february
2006. trees creak, stressed by the loud wind. the wind is constant in
the background, high up in the treetops, and it also descends to
mic-level with some intensity. strange slithery swirling gusts towards
the end. stereo recording: sony ecm-ds70p -> minidisc.
