Background in radio and audio for 45 years now.

As of May 2018 I'm using a Zoom F4 with a Rode NTG4+ in a rode Blimp. Now mainly working in mono because many producers prefer mono FX and also it makes the blimp a lot lighter! Plus, of course, I get better 'reach' than when using a standard XY stereo mic.

Previously working with Zoom F4 and Rode NT4 in modified Rode Blimp. (I preferred to work in stereo.)

Earlier recordings here are with Zoom H5 with Rycote 'hairy' and Rycote handheld shockmount.

Standard recording format is WAV 24-bit 44.1KHz, but I sometimes drop to 16-bit for uploads.
