Wednesday, October 1st, 2008. 11:45am. Civil Defense monthly test of a Federal Signal 1000T (3-phase, 5/6 port ratio, "high" chopper voltage tap). This siren is located at the Waikiki Library. I was at about 100ft away from it. Used an Edirol R-09(AGC off, LOW CUT on, MIC GAIN low, INPUT LEVEL 30) + Sound Professionals SP-TFB-2 Binaurals.
Strangely higher pitched than other Thunderbolt 1000Ts. This one sounded but did not rotate, hence the steady sound output.
