Extract from an hours recording of a thunderstorm. This is a very loud clap (it was right over my house), and there is a little distortion - sorry. You can hear traffic at the bottom of the road, and a car going over speed bumps in my street. Recorded on Maplin stereo mic > Sony MZ-N1 MD on 24th Aug 2006

Wow, that loud clap spooked me! I was typing my Spanish final and my hands pressed on the keyboard making a word similar to this: atayhorlasdkjt. Great clip!

I played the preview of this just for fun, and my kids all perked up at the big clap of thunder. It was amusing. :)
