This was a strange discovery.
I discovered that my car, when AM is set to 540, picks up noise from acceleration.
The EMI is inverse to the pressure i put on the accelerator. Therefore, when i accelerate, the tone moves down.
This is a recording i made driving home from work. I used my ZOOM H4 with the built in stereo mic built in.
recorded at 48/24 encoded to flac.

That is a great discovery indeed. So alien and existential in terms of expression. Great recording on the Zoom4. I am looking to buy a Zoom 5. Are you happy with your Zoom product ?

Ha! This adds a whole new dimension to driving. A new artform - throttle synthesis compositions? Like the exhaust back in there on some segments.

Amazing, this makes for a brilliant conceptual piece!
It's things like this that make me glad that freesound is around for people to put their recordings.
