It's recess time at San Lorenzo de El Escorial's Real Colegio Alfonso XII's boarding school, Madrid, Spain. Children are playing games, mainly soccer, on Escorial Monastery's front esplanade, apparently used as a schoolyard. High pitched voices blend with bypasser's conversations. Putting aside the fact that we're on a World Heritage Site, this could also be your regular park where youngsters gather any afternoon.
