My first upload to Freesound is a thunderstorm recorded in Gateshead, UK, next to our open bathroom window. Some lovely thunderclaps and rain. Recorded on a Zoom H5.
There are also some household sounds swimming around in the background, doors closing, dishes clinking etc; I think you can hear the radio or something very faintly towards the end -- but there's plenty of clean usable thunder and rain in there.
Incidentally I often use this type of thing in my long-form instrumental music, produced under the name conelrad. I have a podcast of album-length instrumental music which comes out every other week, called conelcast. Check it out wherever you get podcasts or at conelrad.co.uk if that kinda thing interests you.
