This sounds exactly like my cat Charlie when our dog Gizmo would get too close to his food, Charlie would make these types of growls and then pounce at him and remind him who is really boss. RIP Charlie (2003-2008).

I love this!!! What a great bit of recording. I think I've used this for a hissing cat (natch), Dracula's Hell Bride hissing and an Alien sticking out its extra set of teeth.
