Mechanical ignition sound leads to fire combustion which rapidly becomes a roaring inferno. In this version I added the sound of fueled burners and some metallic debris (giving it a more industrial sound) to my original “Fire1” submission.
Constructed in LIVE! and Reason
The ignition sound is a sped up gun cocking followed by a filter and pitched kick drum. The following sub ‘woosh’ is the return of the same kick going through a grain delay. Then I faded in the sound of analogue tape being crumpled with a grain delay and vinyl scratches for crispy crackles. I added a few more of the sub ‘woosh’ sounds and automated levels. The extra sounds in this version where synthesized with three Malstrom graintable synths in Reason.
