Hello there, I am a blind college student who is currently studying for a degree in music industry and recording technology. I greatly enjoy creating music and sound effects. While my gear is limited, and I don't get any wild opportunities to record rare sounds, I hope you will find my sounds useful anyway. While I can't record or create absolutely anything under the sun, I will still take requests. some of these sounds are old, and some are new, thus the quality varies. I tried to record these sounds as isolated as possible. Most of these sounds haven't been mastered to the point where they are at maximum level. Most of them have just received some gentle peak limiting. Therefore, they don't have a very strong punch. If that is what you want, you'll have to tweak it to your own taste or use something else. Some of these sounds have been recorded with stereo microphones which are mono compatible. At the end of the description of each sound, I will state the channel format (mono or stereo), and if the sound is mono compatible or not. Some of these sounds were recorded at a sample rate of 96K, strictly for sound design purposes. Many of them were recorded at 24 bit, though were mixed down to 16 bit after mastering. The sounds I have uploaded here have been edited and mastered at 16 bit, 44K stereo. The description of a sound will tell you if a 96K version is available. If you want that, just ask, and you shall receive. It may take time for me to send the 96 K version, first off because I'll have to find it, but also because I'll have to re-edit and master it. A fair number of my sounds don't have 96 K masters because 96 k material is not in overly high demand. In any case, I always compress to flac format to save space but retain quality. Please make sure you have software that will handle this format! Feel free to use these sounds anywhere; I don't want to restrict where this stuff goes because I am only doing it for fun at present. You don't have to ask or contact me before using anything, though I would really love it if you made a link showing how you used the sound. At present I do not have commercial material available, but that may change in the future. Regardless, I will always try to have a plentiful amount of material out there for free. I hope you enjoy the sounds! Please give me feedback when you can, so I can improve things.
