Amazing! I just started to work with Ardour and searching for sounds I can use! and now.... here is a sample where I play the Cuica! I was a part of this Samba Bateria (Name: Sapucaiu no Samba) from Berlin several times as a guest musician. They always open the KdK Parade in Kreuzberg. It always takes place on "Pfingsten weekend". Worth to visit it! THX for this sample! I will download the whole package, maybe I find another "take" (e.g. Bad Wildungen or Coburg) where I play the Cuica! :-)
