This 48KHz/24bit sample pack contains fifteen samples of a standard orchestral tubular bell playing the note A. This was recorded live at 3rd Avenue United Church in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada on the 3rd and 4th of December 2010 by David Puls. In this case we have managed to minimize audience spill. The mic was a Josephson e22 through a Millennia Media HV-3D preamp whilst the ambient partials were captured with two Josephson C617s through an NPNG preamp. Recorded to an Alesis HD24 then downloaded into Pro Tools. Final edit and processing in Cool Edit Pro.

Hi Sandyrb - Wow this was recorded live ?! I'm no audio expert, which is why I come to Freesound - it seems super clean to me! Thanks So Much for your recording - it was just what I was looking for. I'm currently in a motion graphics class --- it's here if you want to check it out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=do9gzo1M3Tw

I used your audio sample in one of the default soundscapes (druidic ceremony) featured in my software, audiosmosis.
