By a creek in West Virginia, near a cow pasture and under a large tree. The track opens with the vocalization of a startled deer, then subsides into a relaxed ambiance. Rain falling does nothing to dampen the spirits of the birds. This is a very "drippy" rain as large drops collect on the leaves and fall heavily to the ground.
Rain falling, birds singing, cows, and the quiet sound of the creek. Occasionally a frog. Light/distant automobile noise, not too disruptive.
Recorded on Olympus LS-10 and my binaural rig: a set of paired omnidirectional mics with preamp sold by Church Audio, worn over my ears in a homemade windscreen that resembles a pair of earmuffs.
