some 'modified' timpani hits. various techniques such as damping the head with one hand, striking and then pressing or sliding with the mallet, playing with fingers, etc. 'performed' (i am not a timpanist) on both drums, tuned to G (low) and C (high). mono, mic positioned about 80 cm above and between drums.
