Kolag System in IG date 248/6/3048. Due to an issue with gravity regulator GR07, we had to land on the third closest planet, which, upon assessment, was found to be the least hazardous in the closest 11 candidates. With some luck we managed to approach the surface far away from an area where we observed interesting greenish atmospheric explosive phenomena, very different from normal electric discharges. The scientific team determined that these are also the source of repetitive rumble sounds that, due to the reflectivity of atmospheric layers with higher than average density, become the ominous echoes that can be heard in the attached field recording. Some oxygen makes the gases breathable with AOF9 filters. Ship repair has begun. The sounds can be nice to hear for a while but it is certain that they would have an impact on the team's psychological integrity in the long run so all human resources are temporarily allocated to repairs as we're eager to return to our journey.
