Sound record of Buller's Albatross in their colony during a sunny afternoon. The colony was settled on the face of a high cliff exposed to the vagary of the Indian ocean but during this quite day the sea only echoed a peaceful whisper.
The recorded birds are laying on their nest in a small bush.

Startling work! Thank you for sharing.
Used it for an ebook soundtrack. The title ALBATROCE meaning: ‘alba’ (white) + ‘atroce’ (atrocious / excruciating) = ‘albatros’ (albatross; the wandering one). Inspired by the famous sonnet of Baudelaire, It is about human souls trapped in an industrial factory.
