This was recorded in my garden in Hornsby an outer suburb of Sydney, Australia. While the street looks like any other suburban Australian street, the houses back onto a large area of national parkland. (typical New South Wales bushland) It is possible to jump over my back fence and walk 200kms before reaching the next town. The "jungle creatures" you hear are kookaburrras. Large, bold birds of the kingfisher family.
