Just the output from an analog box circuit I played with for only half an hour or so to try to get the overall feeling of how it sounds when the dentist is drilling into your head. This one had a few more minutes of tweaking to the circuit, versus DentalDrill (the first uploaded variant). The grinding component is modulated by the depth of the tone dips, making it sound just a wee bit more like the real thing. NOT A REAL RECORDING. Why? Well, it was based on a discussion on the forum where no one seemed to be suggesting anything that filled the void. :-)

Thanks for the comment. This wasn't based on any reference, and I would guess that a real dentist would say it isn't realistic at all. But as with many "sound effects", it was focused more on the subjective experiential aspects, and upon my own memory, perhaps exaggerating or approximating key features of the perception while ignoring others. Your use of it suggests that some of that subjective aspect must resonate with others, despite not being based on actual drill frequencies or real recordings.
